About the course

Care planning is a fundamental part of nursing and provides direction for individualized care of the client. A nursing care plan is a client-centered, action-orientated document and aims to facilitate standardised, evidence-based and holistic care.

It is considered as a map for nursing care and demonstrates nurses’ accountability in client care.

The care plan is a means of communicating and organizing the actions of a constantly changing nursing staff. It focuses on client-specific nursing outcomes that are realistic for the care recipient.

This course aims to enhance nurses’ understanding of nursing care plans, importance of nursing process, and components of developing a nursing care plan.
